Rich Finkelman


Richard Finkelman is a nationally recognized technology expert who brings more than 30 years of experience
helping clients manage information and technology in litigation, compliance and business matters. His
experience includes assisting clients with, systems implementations of in-house eDiscovery solutions, FCPA
and compliance technologies, email archiving, and legal hold and information governance
systems. Additionally, he has developed several SharePoint solutions for clients including internal department
sites for compliance and legal holds, document and records management sites and forms sites.
His litigation experience includes supporting and giving expert witness testimony. He has built and deployed
in-house litigation support systems for companies and law firms that measurably improve efficiency and reduce
costs. He has served clients across numerous industries, including manufacturing, entertainment, government,
healthcare, financial, and consumer products. He has worked on matters in Securities litigations, HSR 2nd
requests, Mortgage backed Securities and DOJ and SEC deferred prosecutions.
Mr. Finkelman has assisted numerous clients with the development and deployment of company-wide
compliance programs. The compliance programs he has developed help clients meet legal and regulatory
requirements for FCPA and Anti-Bribery statutes. Projects he has worked on focus on risk analysis and costsaving
processes and procedures that are repeatable, defensible, and auditable. He has led system
implementations involving building and deploying systems with risk models for due diligence reviews and onboarding
processes for third parties.
Mr. Finkelman is a member of the Board of Directors at Public Counsel Law Center: The Nation’s Largest Pro
Bono Law Firm. He also serves on the Advisory Council of the Organization of Legal Professionals (OLP), a
professional organization establishing guidelines and standards for the legal field, with an emphasis on
eDiscovery. Hi is a frequent speaker at industry events and je is the co-author of “Staying up to speed with
changes in e-discovery” published in Ethics in E-discovery.
